My latest obsession is the TV Western THE RIFLEMAN, which aired for several seasons from 1958-1963.
In the episode “Duel of Honor” the titular character tells his son, “Someone who’s strange or different is often treated with cruelty… that’s wrong.”
Over 60 years later and some folks still haven’t learned.
